Here's my sketch of old drum and Charles Burnden.
My idea is to paint them life size standing in a space that continues the actual floor-plane but to make the wall and floor in the mural reflect the 1870s time period. To the right the painted wall will fade into a landscape with sheep and clouds and whatnot.
